Rex and his wife, Nancy, married for 41 years, are the parents of two adult daughters. They worship at Christ Community Church, in Carmel, Indiana. An attorney, Rex was an equity partner at the Indianapolis office of a large, regional law firm. Paul has been providing investment advisory and private banking services to high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and non-profits since 1981. His industry experience and passion for serving others inspired him to eventually found Family Capital Management in 1999.
After many years of serving as a financial advisor, in 2010, Paul decided to launch Stewardship Planning Partners (SPP) to help successful Christian families to live at the intersection of faith and finances. His desire is to see Christian families experience the joy of living generously and to strategically plan their finances in ways that maximize their Kingdom impact. In so doing these families are fulfilling their fundamental responsibility to steward all that God has entrusted to them.
Now as a Stewardship Coach for Stewardship Consulting, Paul continues his work and ministry serving affluent families and assisting them in maximizing their God-given resources and potential to advance the Kingdom of God.
Paul is married to his soul mate, Dawn. Together they have eight children (including spouses of their children) and 12 grandchildren and just added a great grandchild! Paul and Dawn also planted Tribes Church in 2014. Paul served as the CFO of the congregation. Paul and Dawn are active in community outreach and service and enjoy traveling and spending time with their family. Special times are when they gather with family and friends at their lake home in Rockford, Michigan.

He also served a combined twelve years as Vice President for Advancement at Greenville (IL) University and Taylor University. At Taylor, Rex initiated the Stewardship Planning Ministry for and among Taylor alumni and parents, resulting in some of the largest gifts in Taylor’s history.
His other ministry and non-profit work has included board service for United World Mission/Overseas Council, Haven Sanctuary for Women, Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic, the Greenville University Board of Trustees, Heartland Film Festival, and the International Baseball Association.
Rex tries, mostly in vain, to follow the admonition of the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 4:1-3: “As a prisoner of the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”

    Donovan A.
